DEPARTMENT OF LABOR
If you are a federal employee injured on the job you are entitled to medical treatment, including acupuncture. We can help. Once you have a DOL case file number, you can request a prescription for acupuncture from your primary doctor. With that case file number and a copy of the prescription our office can submit the course of treatment for approval. The Department of Labor’s Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP) typically approves requests within three business days. We will continue to work directly with the OWCP and your primary doctor to assure that you receive the care you require to get you back to work and back to life.
