NOT IN YOUR NETWORK? It is still possible to have your health insurance reimburse you for out-of-network care at our center. You pay for your visit. We provide an itemized statement with all the codes your insurance company needs for processing. You submit that statement with a request for reimbursement form (check your insurance company website or call and ask for their form). You get a check directly from your insurance reimbursing you all, or at least part, of what you paid.

If you do not see your insurance on this list, please call us to inquire. It is helpful to know if you have acupuncture benefits included on your policy. Call the customer service number on your health insurance card and ask them: “Does my policy include acupuncture benefits?” If they say yes, call us at 619-287-4005 with the details on your card and we will take care of the rest. Your care is our first priority and we strive to make it as stress-free as possible to gain access to that care. Please call us anytime with questions or concerns about your schedule, your care or your insurance coverage.

If you have acupuncture benefits included on your insurance policy, you should be covered. If you are required to obtain a referral for acupuncture and you are experiencing resistance, ask us for help. You pay for your health insurance, so you should have access to those benefits as you need them. Remember… YOU are at the center of integrative care.

VA COVERAGE
We are an approved provider of acupuncture through the VA. If you would like to be seen by Dr. Mancini under your VA insurance, please request a referral to our office from your primary VA physician. Once you have that referral or prescription, please contact us to help you expedite authorization for your care.
